The Full Story

K. Marie Design was born in 2021 from a simple love for creating beautiful spaces. What began as a creative outlet quickly blossomed into a full event planning and balloon décor business serving families throughout our community. From birthdays and baby showers to weddings, graduations, and everything in between, I’ve always cherished the joy of turning meaningful moments into unforgettable celebrations.

In 2023, my work shifted in purpose and depth. After losing my daughter’s father and my own mother, I came to understand—deeply and personally—the importance of honoring loved ones with intention and care. In grief, I found clarity: creating spaces filled with comfort, beauty, and love matters just as much during loss as it does during celebration.

Because of this, K. Marie Design expanded to include repasses and heavenly milestone décor packages. These offerings were created to gently support families as they honor the lives of those they hold dear. With thoughtful details and soothing, elegant design, I aim to bring peace, connection, and a sense of remembrance to these tender moments.

Today, K. Marie Design and my writing walk side by side. Both allow me to transform emotion into artistry—whether that’s through a celebration full of laughter or a memorial filled with quiet love.
